Why We Do it?
I still will get some wide eyes the moment I disclose that I'm a Paranormal Investigator or to some a Ghost Hunter, but I kind of enjoy the fact that some people admire my courage, yet I frown at the fact that some think I'm nuts as well as the thousands of others who pursue the act of Ghost hunting or Paranormal investigating. The reactions are split most of the time, but I still love the response I get for the majority of the people I talk to about ghost hunting.
Why do we really pursue the act of searching for the dead, or perhaps the unexplainable? For most it's the thrill, but for the majority of the true ghost hunters it's a chance to make a difference a chance to make a difference in the world.
Experienced investigators may have already been given the fulfillment and the self pride that has come from helping a distressed family in need. Helping a terrorized family locate, educate, and defend themselves from the haunting they may experience can be one of the most enjoyable feelings a person can get. There is no feeling better than helping some one with a problem, and helping them regain the lives they once had.........
Ghost Hunters may not be helping the starving children of the world or funding shelters, but they are making a difference to both science and families from all walks of life.
Gathering evidence of something that it undiscovered in whole, will only help others discover ways to rid themselves of unwanted presences in their homes or business, or even help them realize that the presence is no threat to them, thus allowing them to continue without fear.
Whether you are a believer or not, their are people that are victims of the paranormal realm, and Ghost Hunters are the cure and the courageous individuals who help us find the truth, and most importantly how to deal with the haunting that may be taken place in ones home.
There is a lot to be discovered and a lot of evidence to examine, even though many may not believe it's truthfulness, but it doesn't matter. A Ghost Hunter may not be satisfied financially, but in the end they will be satisfied internally......
